dc.description.abstract Purpose: This paper/research/study/dissertation censoriously examines the Human Resource Training and utilization issues in the government organizations (banking sector) of Pakistan affecting employees’ performance. The back bone of this research is the secondary data comprised of comprehensive literature review. The focus of this contemporary research is to explore and understand the issues behind Training and Development in Government Banking Organizations. Training and Development of employees is an ongoing process and it focuses on constantly improving and changing KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes) of employees. The continuous development in Technology worldwide is a leading advantage to compete with the developing countries. Due to rapid growth in technology fields there is a great need for training to update employees’ skills and abilities. Government of Pakistan working closely with this matter in the past couple of years taken concrete measures to re-structure, enhance and promote Training and Developing with a vision to produce competitive human resource but still implementation is missing. The government organizations (Banking Sector) still lag behind in competition with others in the region especially if compared with private organizations in Pakistan. In my study, focusing on the Human Resource Training and Development perspective I will explore/discover the underlying reasons why government organizations (banks) are still lagging behind in T&D and how it influence the performance management of employees. Methodology/Sample: This study is a descriptive study, and data is collected through 50 different government employees from government organization (Banking Sector) in Karachi. This study is specifically focused on geographical location of Pakistan. It involved Questionnaires filled by 50 respondents along with interviews and the Human Resource Training and Development Procedures Data of government organizations (banking sector) for analysis. The respondent individuals belonged to different age groups starting from 25 to 58 plus, social classes and areas of residence but same management professionals related to government employed banking industry. The analysis approach is purely qualitative in which findings are obtained. Findings: The findings through analysis and relational results suggest that there are certain factors 1 have discovered that creates issue in Training and development in government organization (Banking Sector) and they can be solved by an efficacious strapping Training and Development policies and procedures renewal which greatly amend the nobility of Pakistani knowledge based economy, thus serving to create a competitive and developed government banking sector by establishing a beneficial innovative performance related planning, direction and segregation at the higher level development. Practical Implications: The study/research demodulates a comprehensive knowledge for Government policy and procedure makers, government employees seeking for career development, new researchers and generation especially youth in the corporate world. This research contributes to examine how these Training and Development grey areas can be enhanced or improved to achieve a better performance of the employees and its influence on new generation willing to join Government organizations (Banking Sector). en_US
