dc.description.abstract Purpose- the purpose of this research paper is to reveal the impact of various internal policies for increasing the performance of employees Methodology/sample- The exploratory research design have been selected since my study aims to exploie about the actual implication of the various internal policies towards the employee performance. The deductive approach is being used in which general understanding of the policies and procedures have been taken from the literature os various researchers and those are tested in the CMA CGM Company for the specific outcome. All the employees are of CMA CGM Container Company working in Karachi are the population for this research. There are approx. 150 employees in the company. I have taken the consent of the management and disseminated the questionnaire to all employees and have received 110 responses back which is assumed to be sufficient as it covers 73% of the population. Findings- The critical t value from the t table at degree of freedom (df) = 109 and confidence level of 95% is 1.984. The above table represents the calculated t values based on the data collection. Those whose calculated t value is less than the tabulated t values are in the rejection region and vice versa. Thus the policy of code of conduct (-.393), dress code (-4.312), flexible working policy (-6.974), grievances policy (-.766), recruitment policy (-9.309), retirement policy (-6.396), promotion policy (-8.095) and demotion policy (-13.150) has calculated t value less than tabulated value (1.984) so there is significant evidence to conclude that these policies have no positive impact with the employee performance at the CMA CGM container handling company. The calculated t value of overall all internal polices is 3.987 which is significantly larger than the tabulated t value which is 1.984 thus there is a significant reason to conclude that the internal policies have positive impact on the employee performance so we accept our hypothesis. Practical Implications- This study helps to see the impact of internal policies and procedures on the organizations internal performance. It analyses in detail different policies and procedures usually organization have related to the HRM and how each of them contribute towards the employees motivation and organization performance en_US
