Purpose-The puipose of my research is lo figure out the problems that are facing in details and
give solutions to bankers and to those employees who are facing these issues on high level.
Methodology/sample- The study involved use of questionnaires filled by 100 respondents. To
analyze the data, Regiession, Anova, Correlation tests were applied. Data from banking sector of
Pakistan was also collected to examine the impact of work-family conflicts on employee
productivity.
Findings-To find out the correlation between work-family conflicts and employee efficiency in
banking sector, research found that the employee efficiency is negatively correlated with
conflicts, higher the stress lower the efficiency, inappropriate behavior and conflicts arisen due
to miss management of time which also negatively correlated with employee efficiency.
Practical Implications-Banking sector is one of the largest business sector in which a huge number of employees are operating these days, rapid growth in banking sector bringing the new employee on daily basis. Employees are playing crucial role in developing and generating revenue therefore employees are the kings for any organization. Employees are facing multiple issues during operational hours which effect on employee efficiency, multiple conflicts such as stress, apprehension , inappropriate behavior towards family and work due to stress or heavy work load & and unmanageable and time based activities. Due to hassle, heavy work load, anxiety, poor interpersonal skills, lack of support from management, low compensation, inflexible work environment, rigid environment, strict policies regaiding timings, due these conflicts employees are facing much stress as result low productivity, low self-esteem and demotivation and it reduce employee efficiency. To overcome these conflicts some of the facilities that management should provide to their employees such as flexi timing facilities , research conducted by both genders with same ratio so it has been observed that employees stress can be reduced with flexi timings so that employee can work with their convenience which
increase the productivity and employee morale. |
