Abstract:
Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of work environment on employee
satisfaction at Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim, Pakistan. In the present days, employees’ rights and
their satisfactory issues have caught society’s attention and have come under the limelight due to
the situation like critical competition and over-exertion to prove their abilities and efforts where
companies could extract better services for the industries.
Methodology: The study involved use of questionnaire filled by 395 respondents and previously
conducted similar studies and researches for acquiring the required findings. The respondent
individuals belonged to different age groups, social classes and areas of residence. To analyze
the data, Regression and Correlation tests were applied. All the selected participants voluntarily
contributed their efforts in acquiring research findings.
Results: The analysis and comparative results clearly suggested that it is important for the
organization to identify the working conditions in which the employees remain satisfied and
motivated so that they can bring out the best from them. It was also concluded that effective
provision of practical and feasible working conditions at FFBL contributes to satisfaction among
employees and is one valuable asset.
Implications: The outcomes of the research might help the corporate decision makers and top
management to understand the impact of working environment on employee satisfaction in
Pakistan and to understand the overall dynamics and mechanism of employee satisfaction.
