| dc.description.abstract | In petrophysical studies first of all reservoir zones and reservoir parameters were determined which included volume of shale, porosity (RHOB values and NФ or sonic readings), resistivity of water, water saturation, hydrocarbon saturation and lithology. During petrophysical interpretation different cross plots were constructed for instance porosity, volume of shale, hydrocarbon saturation, water saturation against depth interval that showed the behavior of the reservoir which is key interest zone. The gas was encountered in Zone-B Limestone Kirthar Formation, commonly known as Habib Rahi Limestone and Goru B reservoir which is a deep reservoir. From petrophysical interpretation it was concluded that the volume of shale varies from 30-80 % while calculated porosity in these reservoir rocks ranged between 10-20%. Major portion of the reservoir showed 70-100% of water saturation representing the particular trait of dry well. | en_US |
