THE IMPACT OF REVERSE LOGISTICS ON SHELL’S PERFORMANCE

Abstract

In the economical woild of development, organizations are frequently looking for innovative ways to piogiess theii development, client approval and being on top of the game in the business world is what every organization is looking for. This research work tides to focus on the basics of reverse logistics and the impacts of reverse logistics on organizational performance. This research work tries to deduct the impact of reverse logistics and explains it through novel researches. The thesis begins by assemble the workings of researchers and giving examples to explain what reverse logistics is and how it is impacting the companies organizational performance. Through carrying out an interview and being in contact with the organization (SHELL PAKISTAN) the study was conducted. It centres the negative impact of reverse logistics when a developed firm is faced with cost handling and transportation cost on the return products. The study in addition tries to look how this problem can be solved through reverse logistics.
