dc.description.abstract Purpose: The aim of the study was to evaluate “A study of HRM practices and its impact on employee job satisfaction in Allied Bank Limited Karachi Pakistan.” A model has been adapted of HRM practices (recruitment & selection, training, compensation, performance appraisal, and career growth) including employee satisfaction that stimulated researcher to conduct this study. Methodology: The study involved use of questionnaires that were filled by the employees of Allied Bank Limited. The respondents’ employees belong to different grades of employees including managers, operation managers, tellers, and BSOs. To analyze the data Regression, ANOVA, Correlations, and Performance Indicator were applied. Findings: This analysis shows that employees in Allied Bank Limited are practicing training and performance appraisal in best way. However, it was also concluded that recruitment & selection and compensation are also being practices in better way. Further, it is identified that employees of the bank are satisfied by practices HRM functions actively. Practical implications:The outcomes of the research might help the bank to practice HRM components in better way. The impact of employee satisfaction in the Allied Bank Limited and the HRM practices are directly link with each other and have positive relationship as well. en_US
