Drain is a grave issue that Pakistan is encountering for a very long time now, and every year the
country witness a huge and significant loss as part of its exceptionally proficient human asset,
including a substantial number of specialists, architects and prepared experts, to the global business
sector. The reasons ascribed to this issue are various. Keeping in mind the end goal to examine the
issue this exploration was embraced. The reason for the study was to reveal some insight into the
variables that are profoundly esteemed by abroad Pakistanis and what conceivable arrangements can
be offered to destroy the issue of mind channel. On the premise of the examination done and the
exploration led it has been watched that there is a key requirement for keeping up satisfactory
databases with respect to Pakistani experts that live abroad and experts that are as of now living in
Pakistan. Brain drain is global phenomenon that is been prominent in the third world countries which
are regarded as poor and developing nations and many individuals from these counties prefer to
migrate to more developed and stable nations. There can be many reasons that have been described in
the paper and the paper examines each ofthese issues quite strongly.
Methodology/sampleIn
the research conducted the reasons and the consequences of brain drain of Pakistan have been
studied and it has been identified that people witness better opportunities abroad which is why they
prefer to migrate. On the other hand, the paper also identifies that less privileged countries like
Pakistan are unable to retain their talent, and skilled manpower due to lack of opportunities and
unable to provide better returns for their efforts. The paper concludes on accepting the hypothesis 1
and 2. Survey method was used to collect primary data and for secondary data previous researches
were utilized. However, the results are based on the data gathered through survey in which
questionnaires were distributed among individuals living abroad.
FindingsThus
it has been concluded that lack of opportunities in the home country and the law and order situation along
with the better opportunities abroad are the main attracting features and the major reasons for brain drain in
Pakistan
