dc.description.abstract Wavelet and guided filter based fusion for multifocus images is proposed. Existing guided filter basedscheme has limited performance for images having noise. Wavelet based denoising and guided filterbased weight maps are proposed to overcome this limitation. Simulation results when analysed visuallyand quantitatively depict the significance of the suggested scheme. en_US
