dc.description.abstract The focus of this research article is to model and analyze optimal controllers for a two level, pulse width modulated, grid connected inverter using Matlab. The Proportional Resonant controller and Linear Quadratic Regulator are being investigated. The controllers are designed such that their performance is satisfactory. The simulation results are presented to illustrate the performance of the designed controllers under different grid conditions. en_US
