Management Information System for Jewellery Markets in Rawalpindi & Islamabad by Actiftech

Abstract

The idea of opening up an IT solution company was initiated by Mr. Ahmed Ali Awan who has friends in the jewelry market of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Mr. Ahmed once visited in his friend’s business place in Chaklala Scheme-III named SAJ. They had informal talks in which the problems associated with sales and inventory management were discussed, an opportunity presented itself which was instantly identified. He soon realized to convert the opportunity into lucrative business. For this purpose a partnership between three class fellows Amna, Mohsin, and Ahmad was formed and they came up with the name Actif Tech for their new venture. All the three partners have equal shares in the venture and will share expenses equally including the capital cost. This company aimed to provide top notch point of sale and inventory management system initially to the jewelry market and the vision is to expand the provision of customized solution to the businesses of the market. Domain under the name Actiftech.com has already been purchased and soon the firm will be registered. An overwhelming edge for the partners is that Mr. Ahmed’s uncle happens to be a visionary person with required knowledge and ample experience in the field. He has shown his willingness to guide and oversee the project. Ahmad’s Brother Mr. Umar Khurshid Awan is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and has a vast experience of more than 10years as SQA Engineer. He agreed to take the charge of testing the product. The formal work was stared in October 2016 and, final product is almost ready with only minor touches to work on. There are few module wise enhancements going on in the project. Once the system is fully ready, we will officially launch our software house in a proper facility with fully operational systems and teams.
