dc.description.abstract Dataentry is the basically of transcribing some form of data into another form, usually a computer program. Forms of data that people might transcribe include handwritten documents, information off spreadsheets from another computer program, sequence of number, letters and symbols that build a program, or simple data like name and address. To create a desktop application for data entry operators which will provide quick and accurate data entry services for any business. Our application facilitates the data entry operators to save their time & reduces their work load. Data entry requires focus and concentration, and some find the work exhausting and even challenging to the body. Our application provides the solution of these problems. In an existing systems, in which Data Entry operators work manually with lots of effort. These kinds of systems are not more accurate & efficient. To make the work of data entry operators more efficient & accurate there is a need to develop a full fledge application for data entry operators which makes their simple and easy. In my application, for data extraction I am using OCR. Optical Character Recognition1 (OCR) extracts text and layout information from document images. With the help of Microsoft Office Document Imaging Library (MODI), which is contained in the Microsoft Office, you can integrate OCR functionality into your own applications. In combination with the MODI Document Viewer control, you will have complete OCR support with only a few lines of code. en_US
