dc.description Supervised by Mr. Rashid Jamil Chauhan en_US
dc.description.abstract Migrated seismic lines 986-BTM-09, 986-BTM-10, 986-BTM-11, 986-BTM-12, 996-BTM-29 of Bitrisim Block were obtained from Directorate General of Petroleum Concession (DGPC) for seismic interpretation. The information we required was given within the time section, which was helpful in the conversion of the time section into depth section. These calculations helped in subsurface interpretation of the area, which was the basic purpose of this project. Three reflectors were marked. Faults were marked and then time sections and depth sections were generated, after that average velocity maps and iso velocity maps were made. Time contour maps were generated, after that time sections were converted into depth sections and finally depth contour maps were generated, this helped to know the basic mechanism of the tectonic structure in the area. en_US
