dc.description.abstract This study aims to find out reasons for the declining Tourism in Pakistan and suggest ways & means to develop tourism in Pakistan so as to make optimum use of Pakistan’s natural, cultural and historical resources. There is no doubt that Pakistan is a country blessed with plenty of resources and has the potential for almost all types of tourism (i.e. , AgritourismArchaeological tourism, , Cultural tourism, Ecotourism, , Religious tourism) whose potential has not been exploited to its optimum. This study analyzes the positive and negative factors affecting the tourism industry in Pakistan. The study also examines the role of the Government towards the improvement of the tourism industry. The study concludes with laying out potential strategies to revive the tourism industry. en_US
