The research was the intensification of Mutual Fund industry in Pakistan is quicker than expected, due to inoculation of new equity funds and the re-direction of farseeing funds and gratuity funds from banks and NSS to the advanced squashy mutual funds. There are various clear effects of change throughout the mutual fund industry. The prospect of the industry come into view to be capable and is suspended for growth. If latest pioneering products are incessantly commenced in the industry, the mutual Fund industry can do well on a sustainable origin only. This research scrutinized the growth of most of the developed countries related to mutual funds in USA, South Asian region and in India in assessment with Pakistan. The appropriate strategies with the aim of applying in Pakistan and some of them have established and doing well with the passage of time, not only being studied but also lastly suggested to Pakistan. This research job also investigates the developments of mutual fund industry in Pakistan since its inception in 1962. It includes the relative study of the public and private sector mutual funds as well, and these are known as the important factors in this segment and their performance. The already presented market of mutual funds in Pakistan is not totally planned and simultaneously it is affected by the improper consideration specified by regular financiers. It comprises the dilemmas of mutual fund industry countered IV ever since its inauguration, presentation of accessible Asset Management Companies, hurdles in the development of this industry and which are the confronts and chances have to counter this particular industry. Concluding, there exist a lot of prospects for this segment in Pakistan. Although various measures have been in use but all in vain as there is no improvement in the work progress.
