Abstract:
This research revolves around the Recruitment & selection procedure in Standard Chartered Bank with a view to critically analyze it in the light of modern recruitment literature. I have tried to identify whether the recruitment & selection system has been effective enough to meet its stated goals or not. In case any loopholes are found, the corrective measures to revise the recruitment & selection procedure. Many tools and techniques could be used to determine the appropriate corrective action such as route cause analysis, bench marking, alignment with best practices etc.
