dc.description.abstract The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship of training on employee retention. A sample of 100 was selected through questionnaire from banking sector of Islamabad. This is a quantitative study. Regression and correlation test were applied to see the impact of training on employee retention and benefits of training. The regression result between training and benefits of training is 0.000 which shows that training has impact on benefits of training. The regression result between training and staff retention is 0.258, which shows that training has no effect on employee retention. Results show the value of correlation is 0.000 in benefits of training , and training has 45% effect on benefits of training and the value of correlation is staff retention is 0.258, which shows training has no impact on the employee retention. The results of the study would help banking sector of Islamabad in bringing improvements in their training methodologies and to reap more beneficial results from training to increase the employee job satisfaction. en_US
