dc.description.abstract This research investigates the determinants that cause the failure of businesses. Also this thesis will analyze why small businesses tend to fail after having spent quiet a time in the market and have paved their bases in the market. The study uses a qualitative approach to fulfill the purpose. Interview sessions were conducted with five Businessmen to collect some insights related to the factors that cause the failure of their businesses. There are few common factors that cause the failure of businesses, that include poor management, shortfall of monetary resources and money, poor time management, employees’ not taking part in achieving the targets of the business, and some other factors that vary from business to business and situation to situation. en_US
