dc.description.abstract Nowadays organizations are paying a great deal of attention towards effective training of their employees as it is the key factor for high quality service provision. With the perceived management support, employee’s effectiveness can be increased and positive changes can be seen in their act as the employees are fully satisfied with their work. To know whether organizations are giving effective trainings and whether the management is supportive with their employees, a study was conducted in which questionnaires were prepared and distributed among the employees of four companies in the Telecom sector of Islamabad. The questionnaires were divided into two parts. The first part included questions regarding the perceived management support while the other part included questions about training effectiveness. There were 150 questionnaires in total distributed out of which 149 filled questionnaires were received back. Other than the questionnaires, interviews were taken from the middle managers of the four participating companies. All employees and middle managers were supportive in filling the questionnaires and giving interviews. Thus, this paper shows the employee’s perception and training effectiveness in the line management support of HRM. This paper includes all the findings and results; moreover, the discussions and conclusion are also given with a sample questionnaire at the end. en_US
