Abstract:
Main objective of this study was to explore the relationship between big five personality traits and group performance having Interaction as a moderator. Findings of the study state that conscientiousness and emotional stability has major impact on group performance. Results shows that moderator play an important role in moderating the relationship between personality traits and group performance. This study will answer 1) How significantly big five personality traits impact group performance in educational sector of Pakistan? 2) To what extent disagreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, openness to experience and extroversion relate to performance of the group? 3) How significantly Interaction moderates the impact of personality trait on performance. This Study has been conducted in the higher educational sector of Pakistan. Simple Random sampling was done to select the sample and 250 was the sample size. This Research will be significant effort to promote good workplace in academic industry. This research will be valuable to the learners and trainer in making categories for fulfillment of objectives. By understanding the needs of the learners and benefits of quality education and learning these trainers and learners rest confident of a competitive advantage.
