A Study on Impact of Micro and Macro Determinants on Working Capital Management in Cement Sector of Pakistan

Abstract

This project is a descriptive study which was undertaken to know the decisive factors in making working capital related decisions. The opening part of the report is preliminary and initiates with an introduction to the target firms. The core focus of the project was to study the “Micro and Macro determinants of working capital management in cement industry of Pakistan”. All the prominent companies are analyzed to draw some conclusion from. Diverse financial models were used to depict the true picture of the sector and the analysis also highlighted the trends being followed by the entire sector ranging from top companies to the bottom ones. This research turned out to be a successful one as some determinants were highlighted all over again by every model we applied concluding the factor that holds a due weightage in deciding working capital structure.
