dc.description.abstract Energy is the lifeline of for all the activities. Development and growth of any country depends on the continuous and secure supplies of the energy. Any short fall or increase in the prices of energy mix will lead to the energy crisis. Pakistan is facing dire situation because of present energy demand and supply gap and it is going to be worse if necessary action will not be taken. People who lost their jobs because of energy crisis are 400,000 and 25,000 thousands units become sick. This project analyzes the demand and supply gap of the energy supplies and how this gap affects whole economy directly or indirectly. In addition, issues are identified that would act as catalyst to worst the energy crisis. Moreover, suggestions have been made to improve the situation. en_US
