| dc.description.abstract | As a problem of increasing traffic in cities, there is a vital need of an efficient traffic control system. Our traffic systems are not intelligent enough to make the traffic flow smooth. Currently the traffic control systems are based on fixed timers which create many problems like traffic jams and increasing number of accidents. Another way to control traffic is to use RFID based electronic sensors. For this technique we have to use electronic sensors for each car which is very costly to implement. To resolve these issues we propose an intelligent system based on image processing which will provide us complete information and quantitative description of traffic flow. For this techniques image matching method and neural network based classifiers are used. | en_US |
