| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the project was to achieve the underground coal mines traffic control using wireless sensor networks. The main purpose was to provide the scenario where the accidents in underground mines in our case coal mines could have been detected and controlled, and in such place only wireless sensor networks can provide better and efficient surveillance and we can control data. We did some simulations in Qualnet and checked the project for different scenarios. Then we implemented and designed hardware of it. The basic purpose was to achieve the desired results using wireless sensor network to control the accidents taking place in underground coal mines where even GPRS don’t really works and the project enhances the technology for the better exploration of the natural resources. We used WSNs for the purpose to detect and control the Lorries being used in underground coal mines. We made networks using different topologies star, mesh and ring wherever we needed them if required. The final results show us to complicated arrangement of personal area network to ensure the importance of WSNs in modern technology. | en_US |
