dc.description.abstract Robotic Librarian is an application based autonomous Robot. The Robot as we call it Robotic Librarian can do all kind of tasks, what a librarian has to do. We have used some traditional techniques like Relay H-bridges for motor controlling as well as some advance techniques and tools like Ultrasonic sensor, VEX line tracking sensor and Bluetooth communication module. The Robot is capable to find the optimal path by itself. It can detect a hurdle on its way by the ultrasonic sensor. Robot can change its path during the drive and can move in any direction freely. This autonomous Robot is Line tracking based robot. VEX IR Sensors detect lines and robot will make decisions according to inputs fed by sensors. The robot has constant data communication link with the computer using Bluetooth module. It was necessary as computer is configured with barcode reader and library database. Barcode reader detects the code on book and computer will get the desired data about book like rows, columns and shelves. This data will be sent to the brain (PIC Microcontroller) wirelessly. The robot itself is the best showoff of the advancement and betterment of new technological era. We believe that this kind of effort can really help our technology and automation industry to move on one step ahead of current situation and dazzle the world. en_US
