dc.description.abstract The thesis describes the brief description of a mobile manipulator that uses its robotic ARM for manipulation and base for locomotion. This robot is named as “SYS ROBO”. The SYS ROBO looks like a small tank that uses tracks rather than wheels. The 5DOF (Degree Of Freedom) arm is designed to manipulate valves, land mines and other objects. The arm has a replace gripper which means that the robot is designed to perform variety of tasks. There is a wireless controlled unit responsible for manipulation and locomotion of robot. This wireless communication takes place at 2.4 gHz. en_US
