dc.description.abstract The main concept of application development is fulfilling need of blood in emergent situations. This application includes a Windows Mobile Phone 7 application that would help users to look up their relevant people in nearby areas; application also includes an interface for blood banks so that they can serve well. This application should be used by 3 user groups, Blood Donors, Blood Requestors and Blood Banks. Donor registered in system will be searchable and their contact information will be accessible to requestors so they can be contacted and vice versa. Blood Banks registered in system will be able to search and contact donors and requestors and can also generate blood donation alert in emergency situations, that alert will be passed to donors in the specific area. Also Blood Banks can generate blood donation call for upcoming blood donation camps. Above mentioned methods are all for making easier blood circulation in society. We believe that this application will bring advancement in the blood donation process with ease and speed. en_US
