Intelligent Student Guidance System

Abstract

The aim and the most important feature of this project is to develop a student guidance system for the students of the region, which will facilitate and help the students to guide them in which area they may carry there further higher studies that is done by having aptitude and psychological test that is being made. This system will also guide the student in finding the educational institution it may apply according to the geographical and academic program. This system will calculate the accurate result to the given answer of the questions being filled and will choose the most suitable option for the students. This application is needed because all the students don’t get proper guidance and they don’t use accurate area of studies which is not according to their aptitude so this application will help all the students to check there area of higher studies according to their aptitude. To determine the personality type of the student Psychology is needed for that purpose we are using John L Holland’s research on personality types. John Holland is famous American psychologist who contributed a major role in educational psychology.
