Abstract

Building web applications is not like hiking. At first, it is hard. You struggle getting used to your equipment and the new terrain. Then it gets easy as you settle into a pace you like and get into a rhythm. Then it gets hard again as you tire and have to make that final push towards the finish. However, once you get there you can sit back, relax and enjoy the rewards of your efforts. The purpose of this document is to define the features of the Islamabad Traffic Police Website. www.ITP.gov.pk is a government website that is operated and privately owned by Islamabad Traffic Police. The purpose of building this website is to spread Mass Awareness about road safety and traffic rules among people. One of the main reasons of building this website is to provide organization documents available to the public can be displayed on the site in an organized fashion, reducing the amount of requests in person that have to be handled by clerks and secretaries and freeing up their time for other duties.
