| dc.description.abstract | Digital fundus images are used now a day for proper diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. The ophthalmologists have to spend a good amount of time to examine digital fundus image from each patient. The aim of this project is to design a tool for Ophthalmologist, which is a WPF .Net (windows presentation foundation) application that allows Ophthalmologists to examine the retina image of the patient suffering from the disease of retina and to save their findings. This application helps in such a way that ophthalmologists can view retina image minutely and can draw different annotations against each finding by the help of multiple drawing options. Ophthalmologist can select annotation options associated to each image and the observations of Ophthalmologists are saved and can be retrieved for further usage. All the drawing data and annotation information are saved in form of XML file format regarding each image, so this information can be further used if needed. This application helps in assisting Ophthalmologists and in making a large datasets of digital fundus images with the ground truths in terms of expert findings. | en_US |
