Special Course registration automation (P-0554) (MFN 3578)

Abstract

Universities are interested in having the real time monitoring applications and software now a days, this helps them resolving many of their problems.The aim of my project is to automate the process of requests for the special courses to be offered. I developed a new windows desktop application that will Register Students Automatically and reduce the efforts of the management by using barcode reader attached with desktop workstations of registration department.Student’s university card is passed through barcode reader and desktop applicationautomatically reads all the data of the students including student name, enrollment number, department, section and courses which students have to register. This will facilitate the registration department by saving time and by automatically updating the students and courses record in the database with acceptance of registration department.
