dc.description.abstract | Cell phone snatching incidents are growing and are very alarming now-a-days. In the report given by Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) no recoveries of such cases are mentioned. Stolen cell phones are easily sold/purchased in the markets. This project aims to develop a reliable smart phone security application to control user access to the device and to point out the location of a stolen device using text message or e-mail. Watch-Dog secures mobile phones from any unauthorized access. If wrong password is entered more than three times the mobile captures the image of the user using the front camera and phone remains locked. If Wifi or GPS available then it will then generate a text message/e-mail containing information about the current mobile location to the mobile number/e-mail address stored in the database. | en_US |
