dc.description.abstract This Project examines the implementation barriers of E-Governance. Much of the existing work on the development of E-Government has investigated it from citizen-side which is actually a demand side. But the government side details, which are relatively less investigated, scrutinizing the government officials interaction with the government and other key factors which are resulting in the failure of E-Government plan in Pakistan is the focus of this Project. It is identified from the survey and existing researches that there exist two identifiable stages in E-Government. The first phase is information broadcasting phase in which government just publishes the information for the citizens and the second phase is transaction based interaction of citizen. In both the phases we have to take care of the supply first; that is, THE GOVERNMENT. This research explored all possible barriers related to government of Pakistan and also tried analyze them deeply and tried to provide the possible solution in local context. The main focus will be on identification of implementation barriers. en_US
