dc.description.abstract The study is being conducted in Khangarh area which is geographically situated in Punjab province whereas geologically it is a part of Middle Indus Basin. 2D reflection data of five seismic lines 944-FABS-39, 944-FABS-40, 944-FABS-41 944-FABS-44, and 931-FABS-11 in SEG-Y format along with well data of Bijnot-01 is used for Synthetic seismogram, Construction of seismic model, Construction of geological model and well correlation. The Possible main Reservoir Rocks are Infracambrian Jodhpur (Sandstone) & Bilara (Dolomite) Formations. Well to Seismic tie by using Synthetic seismogram for marking Key horizons and faults picking /correlation on the seismic sections. On the basis of well summary sheet and available velocity information, the marked horizons from top to bottom are identified as Samanasuk, Warcha, Baghanwala formations & Basement. The TWT Contour maps are constructed at these levels. The Time contour maps show that overall strata are rising towards East. Normal fault trends in northwest to southeast. Based on these seismic maps the structure of the area was interpreted as a gently dipping broad monocline. Stratigraphic well Correlation of Bijnot-01 and Suji-01 was carried out for deposition trend of this area. Petrophysical evaluation of open hole logs of Bijnot-01 was done for reservoir characterization of Bijnot-01. en_US
