Video Capturing Software (Audio Video Compression)

Abstract

The field of computers and telecommunications is getting interlinked day by day and both of these fields are proving to be the major advancement in the field of sciences. Talking about Video Conferencing actually means communication technique, which incorporates state of the art video capturing and compression techniques plus the added use of network technologies. In this project we have focused on the video capture and compression techniques more as compared to the network aspects although the network theme has not been ignored. The developed software uses the latest compression techniques and codecs to capture the video, which is obtained through a video camera and then after storing the video data feed into a compressed data file in the form of an A VI file, this captured A VI file can be transmitted through the LAN and the same file can be viewed by the other party using this software. The facility of audio has also been added manually.
