Transformer Health Monitoring Kit (P-0300) (MFN 6054)

Abstract

This project is about maintaining the transformer condition. For this purpose we designed a device that measures and record the important parameters of transformer. The parameters that are involved in transformer health are voltage, current, oil level and oil temperature. If any one of parameter value goes above and beyond the threshold value than this cause a problem in transformer. To avoid this problem we have designed a device that will monitor all parameters 24/7 and whenever a problem is about to happen you’ll know this before it happens. As we all know how costly a transformer is and how difficult it is to maintain its health. Whenever there is some problem related to electricity because of not working properly transformer people call on-duty worker to come and check whatever the problem is and fix it at any cost because nowadays electricity is like oxygen to us. So by using this device and give the access of all transformers to control room so the on-duty worker there knows that a problem is about to happen before it’s actually happens. And apart from this we are interfacing microcontroller with GSM module and we are interfacing our device with android App. Whenever there is problem in Transformer user get message. There is one more feature in this device, which you can trip your transformer using android app, which we are providing.
