dc.description.abstract Robots are designed to make our life easier. The robotics hardware and control techniques have advanced rapidly for over a decade now. Today robots have become so common they are even used in daily which reduces our daily effort. Prosthetic robotic hand or legs are designed specifically for disabled people for helping them to get back to normal day routine life. Robots of course are also being used in medical field for surgery where the robot performing the operation will do it with a better accuracy and precision than a human. Rehab facilities are also using robots to support the lives of the elderly people or those with dysfunction body parts. As mentioned the task above are being operated in normal conditions and does not require any human interface but what about a task that might require delicate work in which human life would be in danger. These dilemmas can be quite easily overcome if a robot is used in the assistance of human in some of these dangerous tasks like for example to disable land mines which still exist due to the after effects of the World War II or accessing inhumane conditions which might lack oxygen in underground tunnels or a risk of being buried alive. Due to these circumstances we have proposed to develop a low cost Wireless Gesture Control Robotic Arm. It just requires wearing two gloves which will have a transmitting device in each gloves using accelerometer that will help us to record the gesture of our hands. One glove will be used to control the vehicle in specified directions, while the other glove in turn will be used to control the robotic arm in some specified directions. The robotic arm can be used to pick up objects, disable a bomb hence can also be used for a number of dangerous tasks which humans might not be able to carry out. It will save many lives. en_US
