| dc.description.abstract | In Pakistan, every year a lot of people have been died in train accidents. It happened just due to the unmanned level crossing i.e. either there is no gate present at the level crossing or no one is present to open or close the gate. This project is going to automate the train gate level crossing using RF (radio frequency) module with real time tracking of train. The system comprises of two sections, one is train section and the second is level crossing section. One RF module will be placed at the train section while the second RF module will place on the level crossing section. When the train comes closer to the level crossing and the modules will start communication with each other, then a signal will generate at the level crossing section that tells the microcontroller to open or close the gate. Both the RF modules will communicate using arduino microcontroller. Here we are using long range HC-12 RF module with range up to 1.8 km. Also there is a tracking system installed inside the train section for real time tracking of train. The tracking system consist of GPS (Global positioning system) and GSM (Global system for mobile communication) module that will give the real time location of train. | en_US |
