| dc.description.abstract | Purchasing items at a reasonable price is always an issue for the customers and if one lives in an era where everything is automated then you must be needing a system which help user in selecting the house holds grocery items at a lower, in fact affordable costs. If you are living at a place where supermarkets’ cost is high and the supermarkets at some distance may cost less then this application can help. The application serves user in a way that if a user wants to buy any grocery item, he/she can select the item from the list given as well as the transport type whose cost will be used in traveling. The application will then calculate the minimum cost of the selected grocery items and finds out which one is optimal according to the transport type and distance measured, and then displays the optimal result. May be the supermarket which might is at longer distance may cost less because items are affordable their and petrol cost is less till that point, and maybe it may cost less to the nearer supermarket even if the prices are high there just because transport cost is less till there. In this way user can save his/her money easily and get the optimal deal by just checking the application in their android phones. Every user will have his/her own user profile which help them keeping their grocery record. User can take advantage from this application at any time and maintain his/her record in the application, like keeping the record of the grocery items bought, updating the record once he buys more items and remove the record if he is not having that item any more. The application will not just tell the name of the supermarket which is optimal but it will also direct you till that place with the help of maps. Finally, the application is validated by user studies and tested at different phases and examined through different perspectives. | en_US |
