dc.description.abstract This report presents an overview of a desktop application developed for the official purpose to help retrieve information like email ids, contact numbers from the web without the help from anyone as it is not necessary that someone is always available to search manually over the web. So, our main scope is to retrieve emails ids and contact numbers without depending on anyone. The application is going to be used in official environment, and it will only be able to detect email ids and contact numbers from the specified website. The application would be using the internet connection for connecting to the specified website. To use this application, you need to have a computer system with RAM 2GB or greater and with hard disc 80GB or greater, and your computer system should have a good internet connection. Fast internet is a very important factor for this application to work properly. It works just by entering the website link and then pressing the “Extract Information” button. The application then itself asks the user to select the type of information either contacts or email ids of different domains or both. The application would be done using concepts of web crawling, and it would be a desktop based application using C# language. The tool on which we have developed the application is Microsoft Visual Studio. Key words: C#, Web Crawler, Desktop. en_US
