dc.description.abstract The main aim of this project is to focus on providing an interactive tool which will help the user in preoperative planning of the forearm surgery. The key concept of our approach is to directly simulate the forearm motion instead of a physically based model and then perform the required forearm fracture surgery. To be able to visualize of data overlaying the part which the clinician is viewing offers interesting possibilities. Conducting tests on a physical system would be impossible: for example, because of the high price, or because of the duration of the test in actual time is impractical. To avoid all such circumstances, we will introduce a tool that will give an augmented view of a forearm and will let you do all the learning of treating a fracture of the forearm. en_US
