| dc.description.abstract | The seismic data and log data for Kal area is located in Gujjar Khan Tehsil; Upper Indus Basin, Pakistan was analyzed using kingdom software. The method employed involves interpretation, mapping, petrophysical analysis and volumetric analysis. Petrophysical analysis is used for formation evaluation and volumetric analysis is used to calculate original oil in place our main objective was to interpret the compressional forces that results in the thrusting of area by marking the reflectors on seismic lines preparing T-D chart and contour maps. The volumetric studies shows that recoverable reserves are 12.45 Million barrels in the Khewra sandstone and it is hydrocarbon saturated. | en_US |
