Automation of a Garments Factory (A Buying House System)

Abstract

he project named KAP is developed for a Faisalabad-based garments factory for the a utomat ion of their everyday generic kind of Bu s iness Process. The pressing needs of t he factory for management of t he ir ever-expanding information made the bas is of this project. KAP is developed as a plug-able module to the already fun ctio nin g poo l of systems of that factory. It takes care of every single t h ing related to the Buyi ng/Se llin g Process. This in vo lves eve rything from sample development to garments production , quality contr o l and s hipments of the fac tory goods. It also handles basic auditing iss ues raised at thi s level. Being an Information System in nature the project has a reporting interface also, which provides a broader view to the factory's bu s in ess-crit ical data.
