Abstract:
This is a programming-oriented project. The InteRChat32 protocol is a text-based protocol, with
the simplest cl ient socket being a program capable of connecting to the server. This software
attempts to provide a user-friendly interface for the Internet Relay Chat network. Basically, it
will be used by the Internet Users and will perform the following activities:
First user has to fill informat ion, which includes their real name, e-mail address, nickname and
identifications etc. To connect through normal Dal Net listed servers. The server is joined by
specific port numbers, when a user connected through the client IRC to server he/she will be ab le
to join any channel and wi ll be able to perform any functions as in the latest versions of chat
software. The main function of this software is the "Switching of languages" i.e. from English
to Urdu and vice versa. There wi ll be one function key, which is assigned for the switching.
The other important function of this software is the implementation of White Board. User can
draw the drawings, solve queries and do graphical actions on it with full security, easy and
flexible user interface. The excellent feature of chat is also implemented i.e. Direct Client to
Clielll protocol (DCC), which allows you to connect directly to another IRC client, instead of
going through the IRC Network, to send and get files, an·d to chat privately over a more secure
connection.
