dc.description.abstract The objective of the study is to evaluate reservoir properties of Dhulian‐45 using well log data. Dhulian is located in the Central Potwar Zone and is broad east‐west trending, doubly plunging anticline. The area is bounded by Latitude of 33°00'00" and Longitude of 72°12'00”, lies in the eastern part of the sub basin of Potwar. The methodology adopted for the research work is Petrophysical analysis to evaluate reservoir properties. Petrophysical analysis includes raw log curves, calculation of volume of shale, Volume of Clean, Neutron and sonic porosity, resistivity of water and finally, water and hydrocarbon saturation. i.e. Lockhart Formation. Petrophysical results claim that there are one pay zones present in Lockhart Formation in Dhulian‐45. Zone ranges from 9150ft. to 9250ft.. In zone 1 volume of shale is 8.8%, Effective porosity is 13.19%, water saturation is 49.11% and hydrocarbon saturation is 50.89% en_US
