dc.description.abstract In this case study we are studying the aspects of a few variables that have been affected due to t he pri vatization and analyzed PTCL ' s Human resource aspect after the change in the top hierarchy s ince Etisal at acquisition . Although the r e are a lot of issues which need to be addressed but because of limited time and scope we have taken into consideration performance , t r a ining effects after c hange , and their post-change effects on the company and its employees . After privatization, many issues arose and invited our i nte rest , like , what were the important changes which had taken place . We t hus studied whether what was the effect on the job satisfaction of the employees with t heir work , whether the i r j ob satisfaction had i ncreased or. had it decreased; simi1arly what effect lay off has had on the over all organizational performance . As this is a des c r i ptive s tudy in which we have studied PTCL ' s human r esource i .e. their employee base ; as to how it has stood affected due to t he change in the top h iera r chy . This study has helped us in analyzing the HR aspects affected i n PTCL . We have formed our hypothesis on t he basis o f iss ues identified earlier in this paper and t he recommendations have been made on the basis of t hese speci fi c issues identified . en_US
