Abstract:
Internet Telephony is a powerful and economical communication option by combination
of the telephone networks and data networks. The abil ity to use IP network to carry
traditional telephone traffic, brings both challenges and opportunities to all the longdistance
telephone service companies and their resellers.
DlnternetPhone is telephony software that can be used on the Internet for votce
communication. The appl ication is designed over VOIP to transfer voice packets. The
mode of communication is fu ll duplex. It ensures less packet loss because of the
compression and decompression features have been implemented. Thus it ensures real
time audio transfer.
