Abstract

Expert Mailer provides implementation ofSMTP (S imple Mail Transfer Protocol) \\ith sending plain text mail and HTML text mail with support of MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions), and implementation of MAPI (Messaging Application Programming Interface) and implementation of POP3. It is a desktop appl ication whi ch provides multiple recipients, may be any in number, multiple fi les attachments of fi le fo rmats including txt, rtf, doc, xis, ppt, htm , html, pdf and xml. It provides the user an option to use Exchange Server through MAPl on internet as well as intranet. For SMTP, login to SMTP server method is implemented plain and authenticated user. Also we can connect to any SMTP server on the Internet. It pops up the mai ls from exchange server using POP3 and di sp lays them. It composes mail for instant sending or save it as a draft for performing offline tasks. It also logs the Send mails with option to log mail or not and sends a copy of mail to adm ini strator's shared fo lder with delivery report. X pert Messenger is just like MSN Messenger, which runs on the local intranet, instead of the internet. Normall y, programs such as MSN Messenger require an active internet connection to allow you to chat with people and stay connected. With X pert Messenger. every contact is identified by their IP add ress instead. So you do not need to be connected to the internet. It is particu larly useful if you wish to transfer large flies over the network. You also have a lot of other features, as detailed below.
