Abstract

This report will explain the basic steps (system analysis, design, implementation and testing) to develop of the Management Information System for CBR. This Management Information System MIS is designed for Central Board of Revenue CBR. This system is suitable for all departments of CBR like Income Tax Department, Sales Tax Department, Custom House, NTN Cell etc. This system is usef·ul to provide information to help in managing all departments of CBR. This system will help the user to have accurate information about taxpayers, revenue collection, tax profile and returns collection. This MIS system full-featured solutions that manage and control for CBR. This system is very helpful in managing multiple functionalities. This system works for the Modules 1. NTN 2. Direct Tax 3. Sales Tax 4. Central Excise 5. Customs The Income tax commissioner gets information about taxpayer, his complete tax profile and tax information. Same Way the Sales tax collector gets information about tax payer, his complete tax profile and tax information .. The Management Information System is developed in Oracle Developer 2000. Oracle 7.3 is used for maintaining database on back-end and Developer 2000 is used for developing forms and reports on front-end.
