Abstract

The Decision Support System is designed for ultimate flexibility and intuitive ease of use. The software can manage different type of application and number of users can use it. This software is an interactive software-based system intended to help decision makers compile useful information from raw data, documents, personal knowledge, and/or business models to identify and solve problems and make decisions. It is a distributed system and it is a tool which can run in different business environments using maximum benefits of DDL and DML. It creates Relational Database at run time, provides dynamic menu and form loading. It allows user to create report according to his requirement. The system can be used by multiple subscribers (users) with different level of security checks. Our requirement is to provide communication, and document reporting for provided data, if the system moves from generic to specific it is more likely to emphasize on knowledge base and models to apply for hypothesis but ours will be a generic tool and solely concerns about data. It is a full 3-tier application, which includes business objects and a standard UI. The system is developed in a modular way by a team of 2 students, with particular emphasis on two distinct modules. Modules specification is based upon the distinct tasks as mentioned in 3 .1.1.
